Technical Memoranda

 

In order to better organize the planning effort for public review, we are separating the planning topics and issues into individual, “topic-oriented” technical memoranda.

Public Involvement Opportunities

Two public meetings will be scheduled in order to provide an overview of the topics
and to solicit public feedback.
• The first is scheduled for November 4, 2010 and will cover the first three Technical
memoranda topic areas;
  o a review of historical water quality monitoring in the area , the Lake Samish
Basin modeling effort, and a review of pertinent codes and regulations
pertaining to stormwater in the area
•
 The second public meeting (tentatively scheduled for the middle of
January 2011) will cover the final four technical memoranda topic areas;
  o a discussion of a stormwater related maintenance and operation plan,
programmatic and structural solutions for stormwater issues in the
area, and a discussion of governance and funding options for the final
management plan.
Each memorandum will be uploaded onto the
website as it becomes available.
